Franchise Lead - Haematology
The Franchise Lead – Hematology sets the vision, drives execution, and delivers commercial results for the Hematology portfolio and assigned product across the geography. This seasoned leader directly supervises a cross‑functional sales and marketing team, elevates performance through coaching and accountability, and steers brand strategy and in‑field excellence to meet patient, customer, and business goals. The role is pivotal in shaping market presence, cultivating external partnerships, and inspiring teams to bring transformative hematology as well as assigned medicines to more patients.
Typical Accountabilities:
- Commercial leadership and results: Lead the district/area to meet or exceed sales forecasts, market share, and call execution goals; proactively identify risks and remove obstacles to performance.
- Territory planning and goal setting: Partner with individual area sales manager and/or key account managers to set clear, ambitious, data‑driven goals for each territory; track progress and course‑correct quickly.
- People leadership and development: Coach for impact through regular field visits, feedback, and tailored development plans; build bench strength and prepare future leaders
- Brand and marketing excellence: Lead the marketers to design, implement, and evaluate marketing activities for assigned brands; review program performance and implement agile changes to optimize impact.
- Cross‑functional orchestration: Liaise with Medical, Market Access, Operations, Sales Training, and external agencies to ensure aligned, compliant, and effective execution of marketing and account plans.
- Customer and stakeholder engagement: Deepen relationships with key haematology centers, HCPs, and healthcare systems to understand needs, create value, and expand appropriate access for patients.
- Operational rigor and compliance: Maintain high standards of financial stewardship, forecasting, and resource allocation; ensure full compliance with regulations governing HCP interactions, sampling, and promotional activities.
- Insights and best practice sharing: Translate market and field insights into actionable strategies; share best practices nationally to elevate franchise performance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of consistent success in Oncology (haematology experience strongly preferred)
- Proven success as a District Manager or equivalent people‑leadership role
- Experience in Sales Training, Operations, Brand/Marketing, or Managed Markets
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
